49th MUFON International Symposium Set
for July 27-29, 2018 in Philadelphia
"UFOs, Extraterrestrials and the Future of Humanity"

Irvine, CA – May 31, 2018 -- Twelve leading scientists, researchers and authors will present at the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) Symposium to be held July 27-29, 2018 at the Crowne Plaza -Philadelphia in Cherry Hill, NJ.

Among the presenters are keynote speaker and former director of the Pentagon’s UFO Program, Luis Elizondo who has studied scores of reports of unusual phenomenon and sightings of aircraft that could not be identified or explained; retired UK Minister of Defense officer, Nick Pope; his research on the Global Strategic Trends Program enabled him to imagine “The World in 2045.” Other speakers are plasma physicist John Brandenburg on “A Report from Mars,” and UFO field investigator and Lutheran pastor, Ted Peters on “UFOs, Extraterrestrials and the Future of Humanity- A Theological Perspective.”

The recent disclosure of the Pentagon’s $22 million secret Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) has reignited interest among UFO researchers around the world. That program produced "documents that describe sightings of aircraft that seemed to move at very high velocities with no visible signs of propulsion, or that hovered with no apparent means of lift." (The New York Times, December 16, 2017). AATIP officials also studied videos of encounters between unknown objects and American military aircraft.

According to Jan C. Harzan, executive director of #MUFON, “Based on the Pentagon’s admitting to having a UFO program called AATIP, and AATIP's findings that these advanced technologies are not from this earth, what profound impact will this have for all of us on this planet? Come find out from our excellent panel of speakers! This may be the biggest revelation since Copernicus discovered the earth was not the center of the universe in 1543."

The weekend will include a Friday night banquet, eleven presentations over two days, a Saturday luncheon and Q & A with the speakers, a UFO art exhibit, UFO-related books and memorabilia, and Saturday and Sunday, free UFO film screenings. All segments of the symposium are open to the public.

New this year: FREE FRIDAY=FREE ADMISSION, July 27 (10 am-3 pm) where all are welcome to meet two eyewitnesses, Lynne D. Kitei, M.D. presenting a multimedia lecture on the mass sighting of “The Phoenix Lights,” and experiencer (abductee), Travis Walton whose five-day capture aboard a mysterious craft in 1975 elicited a firestorm of controversy, and resulted in two films, “Fire in the Sky” and “TRAVIS- The True Story of Travis Walton. You can learn the UFO hotspots near your town, county or state from UFO statistician, Cheryl Costa.
