French-Style BYOB Scarf Marbling at Historic Sugartown
Saturday, July 14th, 5:30-8:30PM

Create your own marbled scarf at Historic Sugartown’s on Bastille Day! Marbling is the art of floating and designing watercolors on a base fluid then permanently transferring the design to paper. Colonial Williamsburg-trained instructor, Ramon Townsend of, will lead the group through the entire marbling process and focus on French-style marbling techniques in honor of Bastille Day. Participants will take home their finished scarves. If scarves aren’t your style, make a marbled tie or bandana. This is a BYOB event and participants are invited to bring their favorite drinks and snacks.

Admission: $50/Adult (21+) Buy More, Save More! Purchase 2 spots for $95! All supplies included. One finished textile per person.

Historic Sugartown, Inc., is a private, nonprofit organization committed to protecting the 19th-century village of Sugartown. Located at the corner of Sugartown, Boot and Spring Roads in Malvern, Historic Sugartown protects nine historic structures and 9.2 acres that once made up the 19th-century village.
