2017 Cooks Tour of Moorestown

Dec 6, 2017 – 10:00 AM

More Info

The Cooks Tour of Moorestown will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017! This annual event and holiday tradition will return for its 54th year, featuring five beautifully decorated homes and the newly renovated Moorestown Community House to ring in the holiday season! Event proceeds support oncology services at Virtua Memorial, a non-profit regional medical center located in Mt. Holly. With your help, Virtua will be able to expand cancer treatment options at Virtua Memorial, enabling patients to stay close to home during treatments. The Cooks Tour was started in 1962 by the Curtis Auxiliary, an all-volunteer organization founded by a group of Moorestown women. It was named in honor of Dr. Howard M. Curtis, a pediatrician at what is now known as Virtua Memorial. They began hosting fundraising events in the community, like the Cooks Tour and the once popular Curtis Ball, to support the hospital. Over time, other auxiliaries were established throughout the region to form the Auxiliary Board to Virtua Memorial. Today, this board works together along with many community volunteers to host the annual Cooks Tour. Pre-Sale General - $25.00
