Delaware Dance Company is pleased to announce the premiere performance of its dance interpretation of Saint-Saëns’ humorous musical suite Carnival of the Animals.  Written for private performance, full of silliness and musical ‘jokes’ aimed at his peers and himself, the suite has been a favorite of children’s concerts for nearly a century.  DDC’s choreography builds on the musical themes, bringing to life the beauty and silliness of the music.  The second act of the concert will showcase several new pieces prepared for this performance and for the DDC Performing Company’s appearance in Regional Dance America/Northeast Festival 2018.
Mark your calendars for this engaging and entertaining production!

Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, $10 for children 10 years and younger.
