More Info

The landscape paintings of Delaware artist Denise Dumont are inspired by the shores of the Chesapeake and Delaware Bays and by the places she’s come to know along the New England coast.

An exhibition of oil paintings by Dumont – “Capturing the Light: Landscapes of the Delmarva and Beyond” is now on display in the Historic Odessa Foundation’s Visitors Center, through Oct. 15, 2017.

Dumont’s impressionistic landscapes, from the rolling dunes of Cape Henlopen State Park and Cape Cod National Seashore to the industrial buildings surrounding Baltimore Harbor, capture the essence of a scene with subtle, serene hues.
