More Info

The Electric Factory Philadelphia hails itself as one of the leading indoor music venues in the nation. The original Electric Factory was established in 1968 and was converted from an old tire warehouse. After having been torn down in 1973, Electric Factory Philadelphia was rebuilt in the mid-1990's. Today, it stands on N. 7th Street - ironically enough, on the site of a long-defunct actual electric factory.

The Electric Factory schedule proves the venue's standing as one of Philadelphia's hottest spots for live musical performances. Jam bands and indie-rock artists seem to be a popular trend on the Electric Factory's schedule, but the Electric Factory Philadelphia plays no favorites; acts from a wide range of musical genres are represented and showcased at the venue. In addition, the Electric Factory Philadelphia is also open for private parties and corporate functions.

With over 40 years of business to back them up and an array of event capabilities, it is no surprise that Electric Factory Philadelphia is one of the city's most popular entertainment venues.
