With a maximum capacity of 20,400+ for basketball games, and a wide variety of clubs and restaurants, the Wells Fargo Center Philadelphia has become a popular venue for live sporting and music events. In addition to the Wells Fargo Center Philadelphia tenants' home games, the venue has also played host to the 2001 NBA Finals, the '97 and 2010 Stanley Cup Finals and series of WWE events to name just a few notable sporting events included on the Philadelphia Wells Fargo Center schedule in the past.

Concerts also feature prominently on the Wells Fargo Center schedule, with Lady Gaga, Usher, Oasis, the Manic Street Preachers, KISS, Elton John and Katy Perry being just a few of the famous names who have played the Wells Fargo Center Philadelphia in previous years.
