American Legion Post 133 is proud to sponsor our next blood drive with the American Red Cross. This year will be the first in what we hope will become an annual tradition honoring the memory of Rosemarie and Edward Coles.

The pair of West Deptford High School sweethearts married in 1983. Loved ones described Rosemarie as possessing a vibrant personality and a huge heart. Ed spent 42 years with the Bonsal Blues, where he served as conductor at the time of his death. “He really looked at that as part of his extended family,” said George Wiese, the band's business manager and librarian in 2016. Additionally, Ed was well-known around the country for his skills at playing and repairing musical instruments.

There are many ways you can help, and if you are eligible we hope you come out to donate. To make your appointment, download the Red Cross Blood Donor App, call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767), or visit and use Sponsor Code AmericanLegion.
